Every chapter starts with an illustrated scene from the friends’ story in Berlin. Short exercises teach what the scene needs: greetings in chapter 1, describing a place in chapter 2.

Pick an everyday situation and talk it through with Felix, who chats like a friend at your level. When you want to know why, Herr Besser explains the grammar in your language.
